In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps in the Netherlands demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Polarsteps Travel saw a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at around 48.5K in late May. Its weekly active users rose from approximately 889K at the start of April to over 1.1M by the end of June.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 37.5K and ending at 31.5K. Active users showed resilience, growing from 584K to over 539K through the quarter.

Flitsmeister recorded steady revenue, peaking at $211K in early May. Downloads remained relatively stable, while active users hovered around 1M, peaking at 1.1M mid-quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained consistent downloads, with a slight increase from 12.3K to 14.8K. Active users fluctuated, starting at 664K and peaking at 829K in mid-June.

Lastly, Google Maps held a steady user base, with active users consistently around 11.1M to 11.3M. Downloads remained stable, ranging from 10K to 11K weekly.
